ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS
PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH DEFICIENCY
Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) and in particular the
Omega-3 EFA are involved in all bodily functions.
Some of these actions are due to prostaglandins. Many other
effects are due to the requirement for large amounts of EFA in the lipid membranes
that surrounds each cell in our body.

Once again, this list is not comprehensive.
However it should be clear that EFA are involved in
nearly all of the body's functions. They are truly "essential."
